Procedure to Become LIC Agent

How to become LIC agent

    Eligibility for being a LIC agent :
    • Minimum 10th pass or equivalent qualification.
    • Minimum age of 18 years with no upper limit on age.
    Documents Required :
    • 4 copies of colour passport size photo
    • Photo copy of 10th passing certificate/ leaving certificate/ Birth certificate as standard age proof.
    • Photo copy of 10th or 12th mark sheet/ Diploma mark sheet/ Degree certificate as qualification proof.
    • Photo copy of Pan card.
    • Any Address Proof (Adhar card).
    • Only pay Rs. 1150 as total fees for being a registered LIC agent
    • Rs. 150 for Registration process.
    • Rs. 500 for on-line Training fees {no fees for off-line training}.
    • Rs. 500 for on-line Examination.

    Registration & Training :

    Once an agent is registered with LIC, he/she will undergo 25-Hours of On-line Insurance Awareness Training (off-line training module available as well) which will be helpful in passing the IRDA examination. Complete support and training for exam would be provided by our experienced team.

    Exam :

    After completion of training modules, agent will appear for licensing on-line examination conducted by IRDA.

    License/ I-Card :

    After passing (i.e. securing 35%) in the on-line examination IRDA will give you the required licence & I-Card as Insurance Advisor. After that you will be part of a team working with LIC Development officer.
